At SMBC Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Market Risk Analyst to join our team. As a Market Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in managing reporting accuracy and control across APAC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage reporting accuracy and control across APAC, ensuring timely and accurate generation and processing of risk management related reports.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to provide stable operational support within the team and to other APAC branches middle offices.
  • Monitor dealers' activities to detect any breach of limits, market misconduct, or market abuse behavior.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in global regulatory reporting requirements and maintain a strong market and liquidity risk understanding.
Requirements:
  • Degree holder with relevant working experience in reporting of regulatory reports such as LCR, NSFR, ICAAP, and FRTB in banking.
  • Strong skills in data management in Excel, knowledge of Python, Tableau, and other data analysis tools.
  • Team player with strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
