Key Cost Accounting Responsibilities

This role is focused on analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and variance analysis.

  • Perform detailed cost calculations and analysis to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of raw material costs and pricing strategies.
  • Prepare comprehensive management accounting and costing reports for stakeholders.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to provide ad-hoc support for various accounting duties.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 1–2 years of experience in costing, preferably within manufacturing.
  • Familiarity with SAP software an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

As a key member of the finance team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and efficient financial processes. You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and assisting in budgeting and variance analysis.
