Claims Specialist

Investigating and processing marine insurance claims from initial notice to final settlement is a key responsibility of this role. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in marine claims and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Key responsibilities include investigating and processing marine insurance claims, liaising with policyholders, intermediaries, investigators, surveyors, adjusters, and third-party claimants on claims matters. Maintaining service standards for customers by ensuring the accuracy of marine policy documentation is also crucial. In addition, managing marine policy documentation and related administrative duties are essential tasks.
Requirements
The successful candidate will possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. They will have a deep understanding of marine insurance policies and procedures, as well as excellent analytical and organizational skills. Participating in system enhancements and user acceptance testing projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the department's work processes is also an advantage.
