About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and service-oriented individual to join our team at the National Environment Agency (NEA) as an Environmental Protection Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case Handling: Draft reports and replies to handle cases from the public and stakeholders related to pollution control and waste management matters, ensuring compliance with guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Feedback Analysis: Review feedback and collaborate with operations and/or other agencies to identify gaps in service delivery and drive improvements/changes to service experience, processes, policies, and standards.
  • Service Excellence: Partner, support, and contribute to platforms and initiatives aimed at driving service excellence within NEA, such as service events, newsletters, and initiatives.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze feedback data and garner insights from customer satisfaction surveys to sense and sense-make, and to propose improvement plans.
  • Customer Segmentation: Identify key customer segments and provide department-perspective to develop service strategies to meet current and future requirements of the customer segments.
  • Staff Support: Provide support and advice to officers on service-related queries, such as guidelines/SOPs, service standards, case handling, and direct cases to appropriate parties.
  • Institutional Knowledge: Document institutional knowledge on unique cases of feedback for training and future reference.
  • Recognition: Identify staff and/or projects eligible for reward recognition and prepare documentation for service award nomination.

  • Environmental Knowledge: Good understanding of and keen interest on environmental protection issues, including pollution control and waste management issues.
