Job Overview

As a key member of our team, you will drive business growth by developing predictive models that uncover new customer insights, optimize operations, and unlock new revenue streams.

The Role

You will assume a critical role in advancing telco assurance initiatives, where AI is used to personalize and scale insurance offerings integrated with telco products and services. Your work will influence strategic decisions across the organization and enable data-driven strategies that enhance customer experiences and ecosystem growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and architect end-to-end solutions using machine learning and statistical modeling techniques to align with strategic objectives, regulatory requirements, and partner needs.
  2. Design, build, and productionize analytical models that enable intelligent decisioning within insurance journeys, including models for propensity to purchase, car ownership detection, travel propensity, and road tax renewal prediction.
  3. Integrate these models into customer-centric decision engines while championing best practices around model governance, scalability, explainability, and continuous performance monitoring.
  4. Uncover actionable insights related to life stage, affluence, and lifestyle preferences by leveraging customer behavioral data across Singtel's Mobile, Broadband, and entertainment services.
  5. Maintain and enhance analytical models that inform segmentation, product targeting, and value-based engagement strategies.
  6. Enable data exploration, insight discovery, and controlled experimentation (e.g., A/B testing, uplift modeling) to support lifecycle marketing and campaign optimization.
  7. Communicate complex analytical findings and recommendations to diverse audiences in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor or postgraduate degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
  • Deep technical and data science expertise, demonstrating proficiency in machine learning & statistical modeling, LLMs & Generative AI, efficient data manipulation, and data visualization.
  • Familiarity with software engineering best practices, including modular code design, reproducibility, and testing.
  • Proficient with version control tools such as GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., Azure AWS, GCP) and ML lifecycle tools (e.g., MLflow, Airflow).
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex business problems through data analysis.
  • Excellent data visualization and communication skills, with the ability to present insights and findings in a clear, concise, and compelling manner.
