Funded by Schmidt Sciences, this Fellowship offers early career researchers from Singapore and worldwide the opportunity to pursue an independent research path with access to cutting-edge AI tools and training.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct groundbreaking investigations in critical fields of artificial intelligence and quantum science and engineering.
  • Establish strategic collaborations with international experts in artificial intelligence for quantum science and its broader applications.
  • Submit regular progress reports to NTU and Schmidt Sciences, detailing achievements, results, and contributions.
  • Attend conferences, workshops, and seminars organized by NTU and Schmidt Sciences to present research outcomes and foster collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A PhD degree in Quantum Engineering, Quantum Information, Quantum Machine Learning, or a related field.
  • Experience in utilizing machine learning techniques for research in quantum science, quantum engineering, and quantum information.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, PyTorch, Qutip, Qiskit, or similar software.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts to interdisciplinary scientific audiences and fostering collaborations with international experts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, essential for conducting research and scientific collaboration.
  • Desirable skills include expertise in quantum machine learning, quantum computing, or reinforcement learning.
