Career Opportunity: Marine Mammal Specialist
Job Description:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marine Mammal Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising dolphin care and husbandry, including feeding, handling, observation, enrichment, conditioning, and training.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal behavior and welfare, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They will work closely with our team to ensure the highest standards of animal care and provide exceptional guest experiences.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Degree in Life Sciences, Psychology, or equivalent field;
- At least 3-5 years of experience working with marine mammals;
- SCUBA certification (preferably Rescue Diver);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; and
- Physical fitness to handle heavy equipment.
