Job Title: Senior Cybersecurity Expert

We are seeking an experienced Cybersecurity professional to design and implement advanced security technologies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in cybersecurity technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, AV, Vulnerability Management, DLP, PAM, IAM, WAF and IDS/IPS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement advanced security technologies to protect against cyber threats.
  • Design and deploy native cloud security solutions and third-party security solutions in cloud environments.
  • Manage and maintain security tools to ensure they are hardened according to security, regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee the technology lifecycle of security solutions to ensure they are running on approved stable versions.
  • Manage incidents including zero-day vulnerabilities, patching and misconfigurations with minimal impact to business.
  • Troubleshoot implementational issues by working closely with cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Perform regular checks on security solutions to ensure optimal performance and plan for future state considering business growth.
  • Conduct comprehensive UAT for security solutions before rolling out to production environments.
  • Partner with vendors to implement security solutions, driving projects from proof-of-concept to full deployment.
  • Implement BAU changes on security tools as part of change management, problem management and incident management, adhering to ITSM processes.
  • Continuously update documentation to ensure knowledge of procedures is available at all times.

Required Skills / Requirements:

  • Cybersecurity engineering with deployment, configuration, and optimization of security tools (SIEM, SOAR, EDR, XDR, AV, Vulnerability Mgmt, DLP, PAM, IAM, WAF, IDS/IPS).
  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering, prior experience in solution design and integration.
  • Hands-on experience with native cloud security solutions (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP).
  • 2-3+ years of experience in cloud security engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with at least 2 of the following: XDR (Trend Micro Vision One), Vulnerability Mgmt. (Tenable SC, ), PAM (BeyondTrust), DLP (Trellix).
  • 2-3 years per tool.
  • Managing incidents including zero-day vulnerabilities, patching and misconfigurations.
  • 3+ years.
  • Security solution rollout from POC to full deployment; UAT execution; vendor coordination.
  • 3+ years.
  • Networking, Unix, shell scripting.
  • Vendor certifications (Trend Micro, Tenable, BeyondTrust, CyberArk) and cloud security (AWS Security, MS AZ ).
  • Self-driven, able to work independently, stakeholder collaboration.
