Maximo Technical Consultant

We are seeking a talented individual to support the implementation, customization, and maintenance of IBM Maximo Asset Management solutions.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a collaborative mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement technical solutions within IBM Maximo.
  • Customize Maximo User Interface to fit into Business Functions.
  • Configure Maximo applications, Modules and workflows to meet client specifications.
  • Customize Maximo applications using Java, MBOs, Automation scripts and escalations.
  • Develop and maintain BIRT reports and KPIs.
  • Integrate Maximo with external systems using webservices, APIs with SAP and other external systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Maximo-related issues.
  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Document technical specifications, Test cases and perform system integration testing.
  • Respond to user queries and provide resolutions to the issues.
  • Manage system incident tickets/service request to ensure SLA compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out root-cause analysis, contribute to knowledge base, and provide recommendations for continuous improvements to workflow, process, and technology.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field with at least 4 years of experience with Maximo.
  • Proven experience in Maximo Technical consultant or similar role.
  • Experience with Maximo Integration frameworks such as MIF.
  • Skills:
    • Working experience with relational databases and SQL.
    • Knowledge in Asset Management, Maintenance Processes, and Inventory Management.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
