Careers@Gov is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and integrity of Singapore's built environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Process and approve structural plans and calculations submitted by Professional Engineers and Accredited Checkers.
  • Perform audit checks on selected structures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry standards.
  • Conduct construction site checks to identify potential hazards and take proactive actions to prevent damage to adjacent properties.
  • Investigate complaints on buildings that are deemed dangerous and assess their structural integrity and safety.
  • Review and provide input on policies and regulations related to building safety and the built environment.

**Requirements**

  • Degree in civil and structural engineering.
  • At least 4 years of working experience in structural design and analysis of buildings or infrastructures.
  • Passed the Practice of Professional Engineering Examination (PPE), and preferably a registered professional engineer with Professional Engineers Board Singapore.
