Job Description

You will provide spiritual guidance and care to the congregation at Zion Bishan Hokkien Service. This includes preaching, teaching, catechizing, member-care, and administration of the sacraments. As a pastoral team member, you will work alongside other leaders in Chinese ministries.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preaching and teaching biblical truths
  • Catechizing and equipping members for discipleship
  • Mentoring and providing spiritual direction
  • Supporting senior pastors in their ministry roles

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualities and skills:

  • Strong spiritual maturity and a people-centered personality
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to preach and teach effectively
  • Experience in pastoral care and discipleship

A Bachelor of Divinity degree or higher from an accredited theological college is required. The position also involves serving in other ministries as needed within the pastoral team.

Even if you are already an ordained minister, formal recognition of your ordination will only occur upon validation by the council.
