Our research programme spans the entire spectrum of Liver Cancer scientific investigations from translational medicine to clinical trials.

A key focus area is deciphering the spatial and single-cell remodeling of the tumor microenvironment (TME) in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), correlating this with clinical outcome and response/resistance to therapeutics.

The incumbent will leverage multi-omics approaches, including bulk tumour next-generation sequencing (NGS), cfDNA NGS, single cell RNA-seq and proteomics, CyTOF, 3D spatial transcriptomics and targeted/untargeted metabolomics, within a clinical cohort.

Expertise in spatial-omics approaches, cancer models, immunohistochemistry and translational research is highly desirable.

The successful candidate will assist the Principal Investigator in conceptualising and conducting research projects, responsible for the coordination and management of spatial-omics projects, and leading grant applications and manuscript preparation.
