Avionics Repair Technician

We are seeking a skilled Avionics Repair Technician to join our team in Singapore.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Avionics Line Replaceable Units, conducting regular functional/self tests and calibrations on Automated/Manual Test Equipment, and performing modifications in accordance with service bulletins.

Responsibilities:
  • Set up and operate test equipment for the repair, overhaul, and modification of Avionics Line Replaceable Units.
  • Conduct regular functional/self tests and calibrations on Automated/Manual Test Equipment.
  • Ensure all test equipment is within calibration due-date before testing of LRU is carried out.
  • Perform modifications in accordance with service bulletins on LRUs as and when required.
  • Troubleshoot customer's unit and return it to a serviceable condition in the most efficient manner.
  • Verify and ensure all repairs or modifications carried out conform to quality and workmanship standards.
  • Maintain good housekeeping practices at the workplace and test benches at all times.
  • Carry out duties as assigned by the Supervisor to meet team objectives.
Requirements:
  • Minimum NITEC/Higher NITEC in Electronic Engineering or any other related discipline.
  • Preferably 1-2 years' work experience conducting board-level repair work.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a positive attitude towards change management.
  • Good understanding of electronics theory.
  • Experience working in a workshop environment will be favored.
  • Candidates with more experience will be considered for a senior role.
