Exciting Opportunity for a Research Fellow in Artificial Intelligence

The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the founding schools of Nanyang Technological University, renowned for its high academic standards and research excellence. This Research Fellow will work with our team to conduct research on developing AI models and algorithms for image processing, computational imaging, and computer vision applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research on cutting-edge AI algorithms for processing and modeling high-dimensional data, such as tensors or multi-modality data.
  • Work with other researchers and PhDs to develop AI applications related to image processing, computational imaging, and computer vision.
  • Lead a team of junior researchers, including PhD students and Research Assistants, to help with vision and data analytics tasks.
  • Discuss and study recent papers and baseline codes in this field, reporting weekly to advisors and teams.
  • Publish research papers on top-tier conferences and journals.
  • Prepare and publish proposals and progress reports.
Requirements:
  • A PhD Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering from reputable universities, with at least 5 years of research experience in related fields.
  • Independent and self-motivated researcher with good paper reading and writing skills.
  • Excellent publication record, including top-tier journals and conference papers in the related fields.
  • Strong mathematics skills, with knowledge of Efficient Learning for computer vision.
  • Coding skills, familiar with major deep learning libraries, including PyTorch.
