We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motorbike Technician to join our team. As a key member of the workshop, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing motorbikes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service & Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on motorbikes, including engine checks, oil changes, brake servicing, and tuning. You will need to have a thorough understanding of motorbike mechanics and be able to diagnose and repair faults efficiently.

  • Tyre Changes: Replace and balance tyres as needed, ensuring proper installation. This includes checking tyre condition, balancing, and adjusting wheel alignments.

  • Workshop Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop environment for all staff and clients. This includes adhering to health and safety regulations, disposing of waste correctly, and keeping the workshop free from hazards.

  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients, explaining repairs and service details clearly and professionally. This includes providing excellent customer service, responding to client queries, and resolving any issues promptly.

  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of services, repairs, and client details. This includes logging work completed, recording parts used, and updating client records.

  • Parts Management: Track parts inventory and order supplies when needed. This includes monitoring stock levels, ordering replacement parts, and managing supplier relationships.

  • Quality Checks: Test motorbikes after service to ensure everything is working properly. This includes conducting pre-delivery inspections, testing vehicles, and verifying that all work has been completed to a high standard.

  • Teamwork: Work with other mechanics to ensure efficient and high-quality service. This includes collaborating with colleagues, sharing knowledge and expertise, and contributing to a positive team culture.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years related experience in a similar role. A strong understanding of motorbike mechanics, health and safety procedures, and excellent communication skills are essential.

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills. The ability to communicate effectively with clients, respond to queries, and resolve issues promptly is critical.

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. You must be able to maintain accurate records, manage your time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation. This includes logging work completed, recording parts used, and updating client records.

  • Familiarity with workshop safety standards and the ability to keep a clean, safe work environment. This includes adhering to health and safety regulations, disposing of waste correctly, and keeping the workshop free from hazards.
