Intellect Clinical Psychologist Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Intellect. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in delivering evidence-based treatments to our clients, with a primary focus on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Treatment Planning and Implementation: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions, with a focus on CBT.
  • Therapy Sessions: Provide individual and group therapy sessions for clients, both in-person and virtually.
  • Neuropsychological Assessments: Conduct assessments for youths, adolescents, and adults, including ADHD, learning needs, dyslexia, and other related conditions.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing service development and improvement initiatives.
  • Crisis Interventions: Work closely with our 24/7 helpline responder team to manage risk, ensure client safety, and provide crisis interventions.
  • Client Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in accordance with professional and legal standards.
  • Professional Development: Continuously update professional knowledge and skills through participation in continuing education and professional development activities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology.
  • Experience: At least 1-3 years of post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in a mental health setting.
  • Expertise: Expertise in individual and group facilitation, planning and executing online seminars, and navigating crisis situations.
  • Registration: Current registration or eligibility for registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
  • Onsite Support: Ability to provide onsite support for our clients.
