About the Role
We are looking for an experienced software engineer with expertise in high-performance trading platforms, data analysis, and compute farms. As a key member of our technology team, you will design and develop innovative solutions to drive business growth and improve client outcomes. Your skills and experience will play a crucial role in shaping the future of quantitative trading at Squarepoint Capital.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with quant researchers and traders to implement trading strategies and research projects
- Develop high-performance trading and signals logic using advanced statistical methods
- Design and build large-scale data processing frameworks and libraries
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate trading infrastructure and systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's or higher preferred
- 3+ years of experience in high-performance software development under Linux
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python; knowledge of Q/kdb+ a plus
- Experience working on global teams and driving cross-team initiatives
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to balance tactical work with long-term strategic objectives
