At CYIENT SINGAPORE PRIVATE LIMITED, we are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Test Engineer to join our team.

The estimated salary for this role is SGD 80,000 - SGD 120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and analytical individual to conduct thorough testing and evaluation of electronic, mechanical, or software components. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up test equipment, performing tests according to established procedures, and documenting results for quality assurance purposes.

Main Responsibilities
  • Test Equipment Setup and Calibration: Set up and calibrate testing equipment for various components to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Testing and Evaluation: Perform routine and specialized testing on prototypes, production units, or returned items to identify any defects or discrepancies.
  • Analytical Skills: Analyze test results, identify areas for improvement, and troubleshoot issues to optimize product quality.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of test procedures, results, and equipment maintenance to facilitate quality control and compliance.
  • Collaboration and Feedback: Collaborate with engineering teams to provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements and ensure seamless integration with existing processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Diploma in electronics, mechanical engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters) and familiarity with testing protocols and procedures.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Manufacturing or Laboratory Environment: Previous experience working in a manufacturing or laboratory environment would be advantageous.
  • Software Testing Principles: Knowledge of software testing principles and basic knowledge in automated testing would be beneficial.
Working Conditions

This role may require standing for long periods and lifting equipment. Work may be performed in a laboratory or manufacturing setting.
