Job Title: Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Expert

Role Overview:

Singapore Airlines is seeking a highly skilled data scientist to drive AI, data science, and business analytics initiatives.

The ideal candidate will be a key member of an in-house AI and data science development team working on AI, mathematical optimization, game theory, and experimental design.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to develop impactful and intelligent features/services in AI, data science, and data analytics.
  • Design and build scalable machine learning/deep learning solutions. Deploy them as API microservices for use by software applications and business users.
  • Lead the technical work of external technology partners and provide them datasets to deliver products/services in AI and data science.
  • Support business users in assessing/validating partner-supplied prediction models and deploying them to production cloud.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related discipline is required.
  • Intermediate programming skills in Python, with expertise in algorithm design/analysis, data structure, and SQL.
  • Experience in using workflow/map-reduce and stream processing systems such as Spark and Kafka for big-data processing.
  1. Use of recent proprietary/open-source large language models through prompt engineering.
  2. Experience in using GPU-accelerated deep learning frameworks.
  3. Familiarity with Bayesian statistics/inference and Bayesian/causal networks for probabilistic reasoning.
  • Some hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or other public cloud environments.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for working with both technical staff and non-technical business users.

Preferred Qualifications:
