We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Laboratory Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for setting up and operating laboratory equipment, performing tests, communicating findings, and maintaining inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze samples to support operations by setting up and operating laboratory equipment according to instructions.
- Perform tests as per the Analysis Plan to monitor production and record results.
- Communicate findings to Operations personnel.
- Prepare reagents and standards for analysis.
- Maintain sufficient laboratory inventories such as chemicals and consumables.
- Participate in safety risk activities and follow safe laboratory practices.
- Perform routine housekeeping to keep the lab clean and safe.
- Cover duties in the laboratory stream as assigned.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and quality systems.
Requirements:
- ITE/Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent.
- Fresh graduate or minimum 1 year of experience in an analytical laboratory within the chemical industry.
- Willing to work in Jurong Island on 12-hour rotating shifts.
