Big Data Engineering Expert

This position is focused on delivering a data pipeline that handles data download, decryption, quality checking, cleaning, processing, and prediction. The ideal candidate will have experience with migrating data pipelines to AWS Cloud using industry-standard tools and mechanisms.


Key responsibilities include:


  1. Migrating the existing data pipeline to AWS Cloud using AWS managed components
  2. Designing and implementing a scalable architecture for big data solutions
  3. Developing and maintaining data engineering skills for enterprise data foundations such as data lakes

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of big data technology landscape and concepts related to distributed storage/computing. Experience with batch & ETL jobs to ingest and process data from multiple data sources is also required.


Additionally, the candidate should have knowledge of NoSQL databases and querying tools. Power BI experience is highly desirable.


This is a 6-month contract position, with potential for extension. We are prioritizing applicants who have a current right to work in Singapore and do not require sponsorship of a visa.
