Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accountant to join our team on a maternity cover basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing full sets of accounts, performing weekly payment processing functions, and preparing journal entries, accounting schedules, and management reports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full sets of accounts, including financial statements and balance sheets.
  • Perform weekly payment processing functions, including processing invoices and payments.
  • Prepare journal entries, accounting schedules, and management reports to ensure accurate financial information.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Manage accurate accounting data in the accounting system.
  • Work closely with internal parties, such as the sales team, to place purchase orders and monitor customer invoices and payment issues.
  • Assist in external audits and provide support for projects and tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Candidate with a degree in Accounting, professional accountancy qualification, or equivalent.
  • CPA preferred.
  • At least 5 years of working experience in accounting.
  • Experience working in trading companies preferred.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and full set accounting.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, such as Xero.
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and attention to detail.
  • Singaporean/PR only.
