Senior Mechanical Engineer - Building Services

This is a high-profile opportunity to join a reputable organization as a senior mechanical engineer in building services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the design and project management of mechanical and electrical engineering systems for various sectors, including residential, office, commercial, hospital, and institutional projects.

The role involves undertaking design work, attending consultants' meetings, and managing the relevant M&E aspects of construction activities. A strong understanding of building services engineering principles and practices is essential.

To succeed in this position, you must have a degree or equivalent qualification in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. Alternatively, you may hold a diploma in a related field with 8 years of experience. Your technical expertise should be complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and clients.

A key requirement for this role is experience as a consulting engineer in the construction industry. You should be able to demonstrate your ability to multitask, work independently, and take initiative in fast-paced environments.
