Procurement Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Expert to spearhead sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, and procurement activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing high-quality materials and services at competitive prices, optimizing supplier performance, and driving overall supply chain efficiency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sourcing & Vendor Management:
    • IDentify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to secure favorable terms and ensure supply continuity.
    • Conduct supplier performance evaluations and risk assessments.
  • Procurement Operations:
    • Manage end-to-end procurement activities, from request for quotation (RFQ) to purchase order issuance.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define procurement needs and timelines.
    • Ensure timely delivery of goods/services and resolve any supply or quality issues.
  • Cost Management & Negotiation:
    • Negotiate pricing, contracts, lead time, and payment terms to achieve cost savings and minimize risk.
  • Compliance & Process Improvement:
    • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and relevant regulations.
    • Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and generate procurement reports for management.
    • Support audit processes and documentation requirements.
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization across the procurement function.
  • Education & Experience:
    • Diploma in supply chain management, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
    • 3+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
    • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
    • Excellent communication, organizational, follow-up abilities, and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in manufacturing and fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders, including vendors, internal teams, and senior management. They will also have strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
