Roles and Responsibilities- Conduct thorough credit risk assessments and analysis of existing and potential borrowers to ensure their creditworthiness and repayment capability.
- Prepare and present quarterly and annual credit reviews to senior management, highlighting key credit risks and recommendations for mitigation.
- Support the credit rating application process, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of credit risk management policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the credit committee to ensure that all credit decisions are made in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.
- Conduct research and analysis on credit issues relevant to our credit portfolio, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Provide training and guidance to junior colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the credit department.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in credit risk management.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as finance, accounting, or economics.
- At least 5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, with a strong background in financial analysis and modeling.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
