Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Windows-based infrastructure solutions, including server and storage infrastructure, to support business applications and services.
  • Manage and maintain the health, performance, and security of Windows servers and systems, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related services to ensure seamless user authentication and authorization.
  • Configure and troubleshoot Hypervisor Nutanix virtualization platforms, including VMware and Hyper-V, to optimize resource utilization and performance.
  • Install, configure, and manage Windows servers and services, including IIS, SQL Server, Exchange, and Skype for Business, to support business applications and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and support enterprise-wide solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT strategies.
  • Perform routine system and application updates, patches, and upgrades to ensure systems remain secure and up-to-date.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • Provide level 2 and level 3 support for Windows-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed, ensuring 24/7 availability and responsiveness.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in administering Windows-based systems and infrastructure, with a strong focus on design, implementation, and management.
    • Proficiency in Windows Server operating systems, including Windows Server 2012 and later versions.
    • Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP, with experience in administering and troubleshooting these services.
    • Experience with virtualization platforms, such as VMware and Hyper-V, with a strong focus on design, implementation, and management.
    • Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell, for automation and scripting tasks.
    • Familiarity with monitoring tools and systems management solutions, such as SCOM and SCCM.
    • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
    • Certifications, such as MCSE or MCSA, are a plus, but not required.
