The Project Leadership Specialist is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the successful execution of projects, encompassing both engineering and project management aspects of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of M&E coordinators, site supervisors, BIM modellers, and M&E QS to deliver projects on time and within budget parameters.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and engineers to ensure project design and coordination meet specifications and requirements.
- Coordinate with relevant agencies such as PUB, LTA, SCDF, etc. to facilitate interfacing, services connection, and compliance with regulations.
- Manage sub-contractors and vendors to meet coordination, timeline, and quality requirements.
- Oversee M&E contracts, including project costing, variations, progress claiming, and payment to stakeholders.
- Develop MEP activities programs aligned with builder's construction program.
- Monitor and report project progress to the management team.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and promote safe work practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or building services.
- At least 10 years of experience in delivering full-suite MEP services in the construction industry.
- 5+ years of proven people management experience.
- Proven track record in managing mixed development construction projects.
- Experience in handling large-scale projects valued over $100 million and working with A1 main contractors is an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal, stakeholder management, problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
