We are currently seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as Senior Vice President, International AML - Metrics & Reporting, based in Singapore. About the Role:
The Risk Reporting Group Manager is accountable for the management of complex/critical/large professional disciplinary areas, leading and directing a team of professionals. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of multiple areas within a function and how they interact in order to achieve the objectives of the function. The ideal candidate should apply in-depth understanding of the business impact of technical contributions, demonstrating strong commercial awareness. Excellent communication skills are necessary for negotiation internally, often at a senior level, and some external communication may be required. The successful candidate will be accountable for the end results of an area, exercising control over resources, policy formulation, and planning. Primarily affecting a sub-function, this role involves short- to medium-term planning of actions and resources for own area. Full management responsibility includes people management, budgeting, and planning, including performance evaluation, compensation, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations, as well as budget approval.

Responsibilities:
  • Contributes to the analysis and preparation of reports for Internal Management, Regulators, Auditors, etc., detailing risks inherent in Credit, Market, Operational, or other Risk Portfolios. Reporting can cover a variety of areas, including but not limited to portfolio concentrations, limit exceptions, stress testing, loss reserves, or high-risk exposures.
  • Assists in Credit Bureau Reporting initiatives.
  • Participates in preparing regular and time-sensitive ad-hoc deliverables to the regulators and senior managements, closely working with industry and regional senior portfolio managers.
  • Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervising the activity of others and creating accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in finance and/or risk information analytics.
  • Expert in development and senior usage of portfolio credit risk MIS, with a strong understanding of key credit risk performance metrics, macroeconomic indicators, and general banking concepts.
  • Able to independently and effectively work across all levels of management and across functions to accomplish the mission.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership experience, especially in transitioning or challenged environments, including strong facilitation.

Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred.
