Job Title: Air-Con Technician

ALL FOR PORTS PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled Air-Con Technician to join our team. As an Air-Con Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our air conditioning systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, repair, and service various types of air conditioning systems, including split units, window, and cassette units.
  • Review blueprints, install air conditioning systems, commission, test systems for proper functioning, perform emergency repairs, maintain tools, order supplies, and make routine adjustments to maximize operational efficiency.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and corrective works on air conditioning systems to ensure they are working smoothly and efficiently.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions.
  • Install, replace, or repair equipment that has been damaged, such as replacement of aircon compressor, fan coil motors, etc.
  • Plan and design new air-conditioning systems, including their installation and maintenance.
  • Attend to breakdowns, servicing, repairing, and emergency requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and prepare service reports for client endorsement upon completion of service/repair/installation work.
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Comply with safety procedures, service standards, work instructions, and clients' requirements to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience.
  • Minimum NITEC or Higher NITEC in air conditioning, electrical, mechanical engineering, or suitable equivalent.
  • Able to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the job, including bending, kneeling, or standing, lifting heavy equipment, working in limited spaces, and hot outdoor environments during the course of work.
  • Able to work on weekends and public holidays when necessary.
  • Able to work independently and as a team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in English and Mandarin communication, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders in the region.
  • Flexibility to adapt to evolving job responsibilities and a dynamic work environment.
