We are seeking a seasoned Wintel System Engineer to join our team. This is a high-profile position that requires exceptional technical expertise and outstanding communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide maintenance and operational support for data center common infrastructure
  • Assess and implement Service Requests/Change Requests within the stipulated Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Provide supporting documentation, reports, and other information to management

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.

They will also be expected to ensure that the system software, including the operating system, its associated system software, and all attached components, are operational at all times.

The engineer will assist in problem/incident resolution and determination, working with equipment vendors, service providers, system integrators, and other necessary parties to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve all system-related problems.

They will promptly notify customers of any new vulnerabilities released by equipment/software vendors or security advisories that affect customer systems.

The successful candidate will obtain updates and patches for all vulnerabilities from equipment/software vendors and ensure that these updates/patches are tested and implemented on affected systems upon customer approval and within the stipulated time frame.

Requirements:
  • Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent
  • 5 years of hands-on technical experience in Windows Server 2019

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SCOM, Microsoft SCCM, and Veritas Netbackup.

This role requires a strong understanding of system administration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
