Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Child Welfare Specialist to join our dynamic team As a key member of our social services department, you will be responsible for providing effective case work services for children, youth, and their families. Your primary goal will be to ensure that the emotional, social, behavioral, developmental, therapeutic, and educational needs of clients are met during their stay in our residential service.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Case Work Management
  • Develop and implement individualized case plans that address the unique needs of each client
  • Conduct regular assessments and evaluations to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Community Resources and Networking
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with community partners to maximize resources and support systems for clients
  • Program Development and Evaluation
  • Design and implement programs that align with our organization's goals and objectives
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and make data-driven decisions to improve outcomes
  • Service Development
  • Advocate for the rights and needs of clients through various platforms
  • Professional Development
  • Promote professional growth through ongoing training and skill development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree or Graduate Diploma in Social Work from a recognized university
  • Accredited as Registered Social Worker with SASW
  • At least 1-2 years of direct social work experience, preferably in working with children and youth and their families
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of SGD 50,000 - 65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits including:

This role is based at our Children and Youth Group - Gracehaven Children's Home location in Singapore.
