The role of the Aircraft Component Inspector involves a detailed examination of aircraft components to ensure they meet specific standards and regulations. This position requires a high level of technical knowledge and attention to detail.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting various aircraft components, such as engines, landing gear, and control surfaces. They will use precision measurement tools and technical manuals to assess the condition of these components and identify any defects or discrepancies.

The inspector must also ensure that all inspections are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies. This includes maintaining accurate records of inspection results and reporting any non-conformities to the relevant authorities.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess a strong background in aerospace engineering or a related field. They should have at least 2 years of experience in aviation maintenance and be proficient in the use of precision measurement tools, including CMM operation and programming.

Candidates should also be able to interpret technical documents, including GD&T requirements, complex blueprints, and engineering manuals. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this position.
