Job Title: Vehicle Claim Assessor

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Claim Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for assisting customers in car accident reporting, preparing and submitting repair reports to insurance companies, and liaising with surveyors and insurers to process repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist customers in car accident reporting by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and submit car repair reports to insurance companies in a timely manner, ensuring that all relevant details are included and that the reports are complete and accurate.
• Liaise with accident claim surveyors and insurance companies to process car accident repairs, including communicating with customers to provide updates on the status of their claims.
• Prepare invoices and follow up with insurance companies for payment, ensuring that all financial transactions are handled promptly and accurately.

Requirements:
• A valid Class 3 driving license is essential for this role, as you will be required to drive a company vehicle for business purposes.
• The ability to work overtime is also required, as you may be required to work flexible hours to meet deadlines or handle urgent situations.
• You must be able to work a 5.5-day week, including alternating Saturdays, as part of our rotating shift pattern.

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in claims handling and administration is highly desirable, as is a knowledge of reinsurance and investigation procedures.
• A strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance procedures is also essential, as you will be working closely with insurance companies and other stakeholders to ensure that all claims are processed in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required, as you will be interacting with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders on a daily basis.
• A team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic is essential for success in this role.
