Job Title:

Senior Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Description:

As a senior manufacturing supervisor, you will be responsible for leading the API operations team to ensure seamless execution of day-to-day activities. You will oversee performance metrics and workload deliverables, manage human-error related non-conformance, and provide input to investigations.

Operational Responsibilities:
  • Supervise API manufacturing and overall plant operations during 12-hour working shifts
  • Manage human-error related non-conformance and provide input to investigations
  • Resolve complex technical issues surrounding on-going processes and process equipment
Leadership Responsibilities:
  • Host Tier 2 meetings and escalate production-related matters to other cross-functions
  • Drive operational and process-related improvements to achieve site business targets and manufacturing excellence
  • Perform daily GEMBA walks with manufacturing managers to identify operational gaps or areas for improvement
Quality Responsibilities:
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of all records
  • Communicate all events/issues effectively with relevant stakeholders
  • Provide inputs for investigation – impact assessment and appropriate CAPA
Requirements:
  • Degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemistry or equivalent technical degree
  • At least 10 years of experience in GMP manufacturing environment
  • At least 2 years of people management experience preferred
