About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Security Engineer to join our team at Evolution Recruitment Solutions PTE. LTD. as a Data Security Engineer, Banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating dashboards, alerts, and reports in Splunk, as well as maintaining and enhancing existing reports for business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement dashboards, alerts, and reports in Splunk to support business needs.
  • Maintain and enhance existing reports to ensure they remain relevant and effective.
  • Develop and execute test cases to ensure the quality of reports and dashboards.
  • Implement and operationalize use cases to support business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain documentation in accordance with Bank standards.
  • Ensure adherence to standards and procedures during the development process to support quality deliverables.
  • Troubleshoot and debug production system issues related to Data Security Engineering services.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve system issues.
  • Execute tasks related to project, change request, and maintenance request.
Requirements
  • Working experience in integrating solutions with Splunk and developing Splunk content (alerts, reports, and dashboards).
  • Hands-on experience with Windows, Unix, or Linux and endpoint management tools (e.g. SCCM, JAMF).
  • Proficiency in network technologies, scripting, and automation (e.g. PowerShell scripts, Python).
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • Education: Degree in Computer Science or related discipline and related certifications.
  • Work experience: Overall 6 years of work experience in information technology and at least 2 years in Cyber Security.
  • Relevant experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in managing and deploying Data Security solutions.
  • Certifications: Data Security or Splunk product certifications will be favorable although not mandatory.
  • Knowledge: Knowledgeable with the variety of Data Security technologies and familiar with the industry trends and best practices.
  • Problem-solving skills: Analytical problem solver and good at troubleshooting technical issues.
