Job Title

A senior electrical design role is available where you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical power distribution systems.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and excellent drafting skills.

  • You will develop detailed designs for electrical power distribution systems, including power distribution panels, circuit diagrams, single line diagrams, and component selection.
  • Use CAD software to draft electrical designs, including circuit books of wiring, equipment layout, and routing designs.
  • Develop Bills of Materials and Scope of Work documents to support procurement of equipment for bids and projects.
  • Update design documents based on instructions from others, such as project design authorities or customer comments.
  • Prepare and review test procedures related to designs you have produced and support investigation of issues raised during testing.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum polytechnic diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 6 years relevant experience with more years considered for a senior position.
  • Experience with 2D and 3D drafting tools such as AutoCAD, Microstation, Solidworks, BIM 360, or Revit MEP.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, writing and verbal skills, people supervision skills.
  • Willingsness to work at Tuas area with transportation pickup at designated MRT station.
