Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned database professional to join our team as an Oracle Database Engineer.

  • An experienced Database Administrator with extensive knowledge of Oracle Databases and Linux environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Implementation, configuration, administration, monitoring and management of Oracle databases (12c/19c) running on Linux environment.
  • Provision of technical solutions for database-related issues.
  • Optimization of database performance to ensure high levels of system availability and reliability.
  • Data management and operational support for both Oracle databases.
  • Implementation and management of high-availability solutions including Oracle RAC and Data Guard.
  • Troubleshooting real-time performance and tuning issues in Oracle databases.
  • Management and performance of database backup restore.
  • Upgrade of new software releases, patches and systems.
  • All aspects of database tuning from software configuration, memory usage, data access, SQL and physical storage.
  • Administration and maintenance of MS SQL (2016 and above) environments.
  • Supporting audits with relevant correct details.
  • Participation in disaster recovery exercises.
  • Responding to calls such as incidents and requests in a timely manner.
  • Maintenance of proper documentation according to company policies and practices.
  • Performance of change and release management according to procedures.
