Principal Electrical Specialist

Our team is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our ranks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering and be able to lead projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough inspections of electrical equipment, distribution boards, control panels, and electrical tools to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Carry out the duties of an LEW (Licenced Electrical Worker) including receiving permits to work, issuing certificates of compliance, supervising work, and ensuring that all work is done in accordance with relevant codes of practice.
- Perform switching operations as required.
- Conduct vetting activities for electrical systems and installations.
- Detect and troubleshoot faults in electrical systems to ensure smooth operations.
- Participate in 24/7 standby duty on a rotational basis.
- Oversee and supervise maintenance and electrical works to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate on-site electrical functions and systems effectively.
- Ensure all tasks are executed in compliance with applicable rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
