We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee regional capacity and competence development, drive the regional training strategy, and ensure consistency and quality across all training initiatives. This role involves collaboration with local training managers and instructors, coordination of training activities, and serving as a training instructor for customers.
Key Responsibilities- Regional Capacity & Competence: Secure training delivery capacity aligned with market needs and facilitate customer and internal training competence in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Training Centre Operations: Oversee daily operations of the Training Centre and ensure alignment with strategic goals and organizational standards.
- Team Development & Leadership: Drive learning and development initiatives, succession planning, and team cohesion towards strategic objectives.
- Collaboration & Communication: Maintain strong collaboration within the regional training setup through regular meetings and cross-functional engagement.
- Training Concept & Quality Assurance: Develop training concepts aligned with company strategy, ensuring courses meet regulations and quality standards.
- Business Development Support: Work closely with local sales teams to grow the training business and align offerings with customer needs.
- Process & Routine Improvement: Enhance departmental routines and workflows to support efficient operations and high-quality training delivery.
- Educational & Experience Requirements: Minimum Degree in Maritime Operations or related discipline with at least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Product & Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of maritime products and training demand.
- Business & People Management: Experience in management, business development, and maintaining team morale and adherence to work routines.
- Customer Engagement: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships while ensuring positive training experiences and service quality.
- Global Collaboration: Collaborate with global customer support networks.
- Communication & Language Skills: Excellent written and spoken English, strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
