About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to lead the design and construction of our data center campus projects. As a Technical Lead, you will work closely with our Real Estate, Design, and Construction teams to deliver high-quality projects that meet strict quality and performance levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovative Design Environment: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop conceptual designs and maintain project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Standards Development: Develop and uphold design standards, create design prototypes, and specifications to ensure excellence in every project.
  • Strategic Coordination: Work closely with internal partner teams to refine site selection criteria and evaluate investigation reports to support informed decision-making processes for campus development.
  • Leadership Opportunities: Lead the charge in managing external design consultants, guiding them through design and construction phases to achieve project delivery targets.
  • Cross-Disciplinary Collaboration: Engage with multi-disciplinary Architecture, Structure, and MEP design teams both internally and externally, facilitating seamless coordination and integration.
  • Effective Communication: Articulate design direction and requirements clearly to project partners, fostering collaboration and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Dynamic Project Management: Thrive in a fast-paced environment by managing multiple projects simultaneously, showcasing your organizational prowess and adaptability.
  • Innovative Problem-Solving: Employ creative thinking to discover innovative solutions that optimize costs without compromising quality or reliability throughout the construction process.
  • Diverse Engagements: Enjoy a variety of engagements, including site assessments, design meetings, construction reviews, and interactions with regulatory authorities, with anticipated travel of approximately 25%.

Basic Qualifications

  • Accredited Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Ideally +10 years civil engineering experience on land development, large industrial, warehouse, and commercial projects.
  • Proficient in related civil design software such as Civil 3D or equivalent.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, Navisworks, SketchUp, and MS Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in building codes, regulations, and standards including Local and international standards.
  • Proficiency in earthworks, grading, paving, storm water, utility design, and landscaping.
  • Solid understanding of local standards and council design standards.

Preferred Qualifications
