Job Description

SQM IC Testing Series Production Engineer Role Summary

As a highly skilled and experienced SQM IC Testing Series Production Engineer, you will be responsible for managing quality performance of OSAT and Test suppliers, ensuring zero defect strategy is applied, and implementing supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement programs, implement quality requirements, and ensure compliance to IATF and VDA standards.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of semiconductor test flows, reliability testing, and failure analysis, as well as experience in managing quality for wafer test, final test, and burn-in suppliers. They will also possess excellent communication skills, strong decision-making abilities, and project management knowledge.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage quality performance of OSAT and Test suppliers, including tracking of Quality Performance and implementation of Zero Defect Strategy.
  • Implement supplier quality assurance measures along the complete process chain, ensuring compliance to IATF and VDA standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement programs, implement quality requirements, and support the preferred supplier and component strategy.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and agreement of sourcing specific quality requirements towards AESS suppliers.
  • Perform risk assessments and decision proposals, and secure implementation and compliance to IATF and VDA standards.
  • Responsible for onsite follow-up of all quality related items at OSAT and Test supplier.

Requirements
  • Academic degree in Engineering, Business administration or comparable qualification
  • Minimum 7+ years of experience in semiconductor industry. Prefer in OSAT or fabless environment related to test.
  • Proven track record in managing quality for wafer test, final test, and burn-in suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor test flows, reliability testing, and failure analysis.
  • With experience in Purchasing, R&D, Controlling or comparable preferably Automotive Industry
  • Strong knowledge of AEC-Q100, IATF16949 APQP and PPAP process.
  • Expertise in 8D, FMEA, SPC, DOE and risk management tools.
  • Bilingual in English & Mandarin as need to liaise with Asia and Europe offices
  • Strong Decision-Making Skills and entrepreneurship
  • Project management knowledge, strong attention to detail and agile result-oriented negotiation skills
  • Eager to learn new skillsets and to develop personally
  • Strong team contributor, comfortable in collaborating with cross functional and highly multicultural teams in a highly active, fast paced environment across multiple time zones
  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills to various levels of the internal and supplier organizations
  • Willingness to travel regionally and globally to support supplier sites and audits.
