Legal Contract Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Contract Specialist to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting cross-border legal operations at our Singapore headquarters. Key responsibilities include managing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and assisting in audits, IP filings, and due diligence.

Key tasks include reviewing and revising contracts with customers, vendors, suppliers, and partners for all entities; performing editing, proofreading, and formatting of legal documents; facilitating the signing and notarization process; establishing and maintaining contract management systems and databases to ensure efficient access and retrieval; documenting all changes and amendments during contract execution; and ensuring compliance with both external regulations and internal organizational standards for legal and regulatory records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in Legal Studies or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal contract management, and/or administration.
  • Prior hands-on experience with contracts, regulatory compliance, and PDPA is required.
  • Analytical mindset with excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail is essential.
  • Fluency in English and Chinese (both written and verbal) is required, with the ability to review and comprehend complex contracts written in Chinese.
  • Ability to articulate legal issues clearly and convincingly is vital.
  • Experience with Virtual Data Rooms (VDRs) or comparable systems is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity software is necessary.
  • Prior experience in corporate secretarial work is advantageous.
