Procurement Specialist Job Description

Job Summary:


The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing the entire procurement process, from sourcing to delivery. This role involves collaborating with sales teams to review purchase requisitions and negotiating commercial terms with suppliers.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Review and verify purchase requisitions raised by sales teams
  • Liaise with suppliers to negotiate commercial and delivery terms
  • Sourcing competitive bids from qualified suppliers
  • Prepare commercial evaluations and make recommendations to sales teams
  • Process orders and follow up on status
  • Maintain accurate procurement documentation records

Requirements:


  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or Supply Chain Management
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a similar industry
  • Past working experience in sourcing industrial products (preferable)
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to handle high volumes of PR efficiently
  • Good understanding of incoterms and logistics
