Role Overview

We are seeking a seasoned professional to enhance our Regulatory Reporting & Investment Compliance capabilities.

The team specializes in researching, managing, and implementing responses to all regulatory provisions that affect our investments with internal and external stakeholders and partners.

The team also monitors listed investments across public and private markets to ensure compliance across various restrictions and limits arising from regulations, client guidelines or internal risk frameworks.

  • Be part of a team responsible for monitoring regulatory reporting requirements and developments including timely response to obligations.
  • Support operational activities including investment monitoring, regulatory filing and submissions.
  • Leverage on internal and external advisors to assess global regulations and apply them to our investments.
  • Research, manage and implement controls to monitor regulatory reporting requirements ensuring that regional obligations are addressed.
  • Provide compliance guidance and expertise e.g., review of proposed transactions, new products, considering internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop policies and procedures, including coding and reviewing of post-trade rules and controls in compliance/execution platforms, to ensure appropriateness and adequacy against industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead change management activities to ensure compliance with all new regulatory requirements and internal risk frameworks.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting /Finance, Business, Legal or similar field.
  • At least 6-8 years of experience within regulatory reporting function.
  • Well versed in financial products across multiple asset classes.
  • Good understanding of regulatory reporting including substantial shareholding, takeover reporting, and investment monitoring requirements.
  • Possesses strong communication skills and confidence to engage multiple stakeholders.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills, good working knowledge and confidence with data handling.
  • Possesses intellectual curiosity and resourcefulness, with a strong drive for excellence.
  • Experience with establishing and meeting critical deadlines, as well as tracking and driving execution.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure to meet multiple demands and ongoing priorities.
  • Possesses strategic thinking and leadership skills.
