Responsibilities:

  • Clinical Care: Provide safe and effective care to residents, including administering medications, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Clinical Supervision: Assist in supervising junior staff members, ensuring they follow established protocols and procedures.
  • Residents' Activities: Plan and implement daily activities that promote resident engagement and satisfaction.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid nursing license and have at least 2-3 years of post-registration experience in a geriatric care setting. A degree or diploma in nursing is required, and certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is highly desirable.

You should possess excellent analytical thinking and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
