Regulatory Affairs Specialist, Global Product Stewardship

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Regulatory Affairs Manager, Global Product Stewardship at Procter & Gamble. As a key member of our Global Product Stewardship team, you will be responsible for ensuring our products are safe and compliant with regulatory requirements in the Asia Pacific region.
Key Responsibilities
- Leverage your technical and regulatory expertise to enable business growth in a volatile external environment.
- Establish a deep understanding of Asia Pacific cosmetic technical regulations and develop executable action plans for the company.
- Coordinate and guide innovation projects with regulatory assessment to ensure safety and compliance of ingredients, raw materials, packages, and finished products.
- Complete ingredient and product registrations as necessary, working closely with multi-functional teams and external agencies.
- Support issue and crisis management with creative regulatory solutions, working with multi-functional teams.
- Monitor changes in Asia Pacific cosmetic regulations and evaluate their impact, leading mitigation plans for responsible product categories.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Chemistry or Life Sciences or related fields.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in regulatory affairs or a related field.
- Sound knowledge of technical regulations, with the ability to leverage fundamentals in Toxicology and Chemistry.
- Deep understanding of the product and technology in the skin and cosmetic product category.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to read and interpret Chinese regulations.
- Capability to collate and analyze relevant data and develop executable strategies.
- Able to understand and solve business problems using external and internal resources.
- Good communication skills to guide business to align on optimized proposals.
- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to learn fast and handle complex projects and issues.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to establish and maintain diverse, remote, and multi-functional working relationships.
- Growth mindset, proactive, strong leadership, and operational discipline.
