Dynamic Patient Service Associate for Specialist Outpatient Clinics

We are seeking a highly dedicated and resilient Patient Service Associate to join our Specialist Outpatient Clinics (SOC) team at the National University Hospital (NUH).
As a Patient Service Associate, you will deliver exceptional customer service, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for patients and visitors. Your primary goal is to provide excellent patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Perform registration and screening of patients with accuracy, ensuring no data breach.
- Ensure accurate billing and timely collection of payment on the same day.
- Verify clinic facilities readiness, including the patient waiting area and Self-Service Kiosks.
- Prepare the clinic for its first patient 15 minutes before scheduled appointment time.
- Participate in quality improvement projects, such as 6S, RIE, and service improvement initiatives.
- Practice NUH's Service Acts – 'G.O.O.D' – when interacting with patients and their families.
- Adhere to SOC Operations Standards.
- Handle patient feedback and escalate it to the Service Team Leader/Service Executive as necessary.
- Be prepared for deployment across all clinics.
- Engage patients in using Self-Service Kiosks and the OneNUHS mobile application.
- Comply with clinic/department and hospital policies and procedures.
- Assume additional responsibilities assigned by the Clinic/Nurse Manager, Service Team Leader, or Service Executive.
- Support clinicians and therapists for smooth clinic consultations.
- Coordinate patient appointments and ensure proper care and coordination.
- Manage wait times and keep patients informed in a timely manner.
- Clear EPIC Workqueue on the same workday.
- Minimum 'N' Level qualification.
- Experience in healthcare or a related industry is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible to work 2 to 3 days (at least 21 hours) per week.
The estimated salary range for this role is SGD $40,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
