Production Team Leader

Key Manufacturing Position:

As a leader in our Production Floor team, you will play a crucial role in achieving operational excellence and delivering high-quality robots to meet sales orders.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Ensure regular audits and training sessions maintain safety compliance
  • Coach and motivate a team of assemblers to improve performance
  • Own Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Safety, First-Piece Yield (FPY), Continuous Improvement, etc.
  • Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Self-Inspection procedures
  • Collaborate with management to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and prevent human errors
  • Analyze problems, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions promptly
  • Manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Optimize workflow, lead staff training, and foster a positive work environment
  • Maintain accurate training and rework records, including quality issues
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback
Requirements & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or relevant work experience)
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a Manufacturing Assistant/Engineer role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and proactive approach to challenges
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification or above
  • Strong motivation, ability to work independently, and excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with production management software (ERP & MES) and Root Cause Analysis methodologies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
