Freelance Science Teacher Opportunity

  • We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freelance Primary Science Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach engaging lessons in Primary 3 to 6 Science, conduct small-group lessons at our tuition centre, and prepare students for the MOE syllabus and PSLE exam.

Responsibilities:

  • Taught engaging lessons in Primary 3 to 6 Science (MOE syllabus, PSLE prep)
  • Conducted small-group lessons at our tuition centre
  • Prepared students for the MOE syllabus and PSLE exam
  • Provided bilingual (English & Mandarin) explanations for international students
  • Developed lesson plans and materials prior to teaching
  • Adapted teaching to support international students studying in Singapore schools
  • Prepared and submitted periodical learning reports
  • Attended in-house periodical training

Requirements:

  • Bilingual in both English and Mandarin, both spoken and written
  • Strong academic background in Science/Education
  • Prior teaching/tutoring experience in Primary Science
  • Familiar with MOE syllabus & PSLE requirements
  • Patient, adaptable, and committed to student success
  • Ex-MOE/NIE-trained teachers a plus
