As a Relief Student Care Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing environment that promotes the social, emotional and cognitive development of primary school children.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing students and proactively responding to their developmental needs
  • Ensuring classroom discipline and safety of children at all times
  • Demonstrating effective teaching skills to deliver and present lesson content to children
  • Providing guidance and supervision for Primary School children on the completion of daily homework and spelling tasks
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will need to think critically and solve problems effectively. If you have a genuine passion for childcare and education, we want to hear from you

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work well as part of a team. A strong sense of responsibility and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential.

This is a part-time role, working Monday to Friday from 1:30pm to 6:00pm. The hourly rate will be $12-$14 per hour, based on suitability and relevant experience.
